Just picked up some natives from from East Bay Wilds and Grassroots Ecology here in the Bay Area. I plan to add them to my garden after next week's rains soften up the soil. Huckleberry, Western azalea, hazelnut, Yerba buena, Vitus californica, and milkweed.
In the PNW it feels like fall came a little later this year. I'm still waiting for a lot of the natives to drop leaves so I can get in for some winter trimming! :)
I did move north! I even talk about my PNW native nurseries here :) I'm still involved in the California outdoor landscape, though :)
Federal lands are affected by the shutdown, and for the most part those are still open despite many areas not being staffed. That's the issue with increased abuse and landscape degradation ...

I thought you moved north? If parks say closed and no trespassing, couldn’t local police get involved?
